At some point in history some old-white-men decided to unnecessarily complicate the financial system by creating what feels like a whole different language.  Although financial concepts are not all that difficult to understand, the jargon certainly is.  This “language barrier” has keep women of color out of the investment game for far too long.  It is time to crack the code!

Bear Market:

A bear market is like a gloomy day when caution rules, investors sell their investments, and prices drop, resembling a temporary financial hibernation.

Bull Market:

A bull market is like a sunny day when investors are optimistic, buying investments with confidence, and prices are soaring to new heights.
